BEFORE YOU INSTALL!
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
- Make sure your Wildcat Directory is IN YOUR PATH! The program will exit
with an error if it is not!

- You MUST be able to run CGI programs sucessfully for this program to run!

TRIAL VERSION:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
This trial version of this program will allow your users to enter AS MANY
entries in thier Address book as they want, however, it will only display
the FIRST FIVE entries when they open thier book!

INSTALLATION:
---------------------------------------------------------------------------

1) Unzip the IEMAB.Zip to a temporary directory using a 32BIT Unzip Utility
such as WinZip.

2) Unzip the Contents of the TEMPLATE.ZIP to your wc5\http\template directory.
The Address Book MUST be run from this directory!

3) Unzip the WCX.ZIP to your Wildcat Directory. This contains a file called
html-generic template.wcx to run generic Templates. IF YOU ALREADY HAVE THIS FILE,
you may skip this step!!

4) Run the INSTALL.EXE to install the Programs Files. You MUST enter your Wildcat
CGI directory as the Destination directory! (example: c:\cgi)

5) Edit your iemab.cfg file that is installed in your CGI directory, example below:

000000
00-0000
BBS Name
admin@yourdomain.com
http://www.yourdomain.com/cgi/
False
http://www.yourhomepage.com
##################################

Line 1: Registration Number - Enter 000000 if Trial
Line 2: Wildcat Reg Number
Line 3: System Name
Line 4: Admin Email Address
Line 5: HTTP path to your CGI directory
Line 6: Use Mailto Links - True Use Internal Mail Form - False
Line 7: URL to your Homepage

NOTE: If you choose to use MailTo links, clicking on an Email Address will launch the
USERS default Email program to send the Email thus using the SMTP server that they have
configured and the return address used in thier Email Program. If you use the Internal
Mail Form, this will cause the message to be sent using YOUR system and the Users return
Address to be thier Email Address ON YOUR SYSTEM.

6) Create a link from one of your pages to run the Address Book, the link should be;

http://yoururl.com/code/html-generic+template?template=iemab.htm

The iemab.htm MUST be run as a Template! It uses the Wildcat variable @USER.NAME@.

NOTES:
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

* Wildcat sometimes has problems running some CGI's when you have your CGI directory UNDER
your HTTP directory (ex. c:\wc5\http\cgi or c:\wc5\http\public\cgi) SUGGESTION, put your CGI
directory under your ROOT (ex. c:\cgi) you must then change the path to your CGI directory in
wcConfig > Computers. This will NOT change the way you call a CGI in the URL! You will still
use http://yoursystem.com/cgi/whatever.exe for SECURED CGI's or http://yoursystem.com/public/
cgi/whetever.exe for PUBLIC CGI's. Wildcat handles the path translation for you.

* You may edit the IEMAB.HTM or IEMABADD.HTM to fit the style of your system as long as you don't
change the URL's to call the program and you keep the copyright notice at the bottom of the Page.
